Gerard V. Yu, DPM Scientific Paper Competition
and 2023 Resident Poster Competition

The Gerard V. Yu, DPM Scientific Paper Competition and 2023 Resident Poster Competition will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM during the 107th Annual Ohio Foot and Ankle Scientific Seminar. This is an opportunity for active resident members of the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association to showcase their talent and hard work in the presentation of their research (presentation time may be subject to change).
The 2022 competition finalists, received over $3,000 in cash and prizes!!

Scientific Paper Competition
Paper submissions must be postmarked by Friday, February 10, 2023. Click Here For The Scientific Paper Application For Participation
Active resident members that are currently members of the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association in good standing may submit a paper. Papers submitted by anyone who is NOT a member of the OHFAMA will not be accepted.
Complete the one-page application and mail with your paper submission to the OFAMF. Please submit a copy of the paper with title pages that indicate the title ONLY. Carefully review your submission paper to make sure that any references to a residency program or director are removed. Papers must be HIPAA compliant to protect patient identity on films or pathology reports. Click Here For The Scientific Paper Participation Information
Scientific Poster Competition
Poster submissions must be received by Friday, February 10, 2023. Click Here For The Abstract Poster Competition Application For Participation
If you would like your research to be considered for presentation at the 2023 Annual Ohio Foot and Ankle Scientific Seminar email your poster information by February 10, 2023. Your application and abstract may be submitted to OFAMF via email to lridolfo@ohfama.org. Remember, not all submissions are accepted. Notification regarding acceptance of posters will be emailed by April 17, 2023.

Finalist will be asked to do a brief 5 minute presentation on Thursday, May 18, 2023 after the Scientific Paper Competition at the Columbus Hilton at Easton during the 107th Annual Foot and Ankle Scientific Seminar.
