There were over 110 reasons to celebrate the 110th Annual Ohio Foot & Ankle Scientific Seminar! The halls at the Hilton were buzzing as DPMs connected, networked, and learned from leaders in podiatric medicine. Our attendees work hard to keep Ohioans on their feet everyday, and the seminar provides DPMs an opportunity to recharge as they continue their vital work.
The Annual Seminar remains the cornerstone of podiatric education in in Ohio. This year, attendees earned up to 25 CMEs across one virtual and two in-person days of education. From MIS and soft tissue updates to complex cases and traumatic amputation, there was something for everyone. The faculty this year was outstanding; attendees went home with actionable takeaways and pearls they can apply to their patients on Monday.

Arrrr, mateys! In between educational sessions and networking, DPMs stopped to show of their aim and generosity by donating to OPPAC and trying their hand at ax throwing. Lucky winners collected special keys, one of which unlocked a mysterious treasure chest with the grand prize. Donors who contributed at least $200 also walked away with this year's pirate booty: a custom OHFAMA Yeti mug. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, OPPAC met its fundraising goal of $6,250 to help protect and advance podiatric medicine in Ohio.
Some special guests attended the first day of the seminar this year -- potential students! Students exploring podiatric medicine attended a special track talking to members, sitting in on real sessions, and even took part in a KSUCPM suture lab. Our seminar is the first in the country to host a Sole Search program, and we hope to see them again as DPMs!
Did you know OFAMF hosts one of the only Resident Paper & Poster Competitions in the country? It was truly inspiring to hear Ohio residents share their research and hard work. You can view the poster competition submissions here. The future of podiatric medicine is bright!
Drs. Dalvin and Neihaus accepted their awards by thanking their families and sharing their love of podiatric medicine
This year, the Ohio Foot & Ankle Medical Association honored two distinguished physicians with the 2026 Service Award, Drs. Mitchell Dalvin and Leslie Niehaus, celebrating two careers shaped by the same core values. Both awardees served OHFAMA and their communities through exceptional patient care, dedication to the podiatric profession, and by paving the way for the next generation of podiatric physicians. The Exhibit Hall became a can't-miss stop for attendees. Buzz, Woody, and Toy Story gang even made an appearance to hand out dozens of prizes at the Exhibitor marketplace Luncheon before their big debut in Toy Story 5 this summer! As always, we couldn't host such incredible CMEs without our partners and we're thankful for their support.

In between a full schedule of lectures and workshops, attendees still had time for fun. Connection was the defining theme this year: networking with colleagues, reuniting with friends, and celebrating a strong foundation of podiatric medicine in Ohio. After toasting another successful Annual Scientific Seminar at the Welcome Reception, attendees continued the celebration in Easton.
